Clicking in the jaw, pain in the temples and jaw muscles that tire quickly when chewing are signs that your bite is out of balance. At MediLavia, we offer expert functional diagnostics for complex patients, aimed at finding the root cause of discomfort rather than masking the symptoms.
We take an interdisciplinary approach that combines CT data, functional tests and biomechanical analysis. This lets us determine precisely whether the discomfort comes from the position of the teeth, the condition of the joint or muscle hypertonicity.
The outcome of the diagnostics is a clear rehabilitation plan, from splint therapy (mouthguards) to final prosthetics. Our goal is to restore comfort with every movement of the jaw and to make any dental treatment last.
