Modern dentistry starts with 3D imaging. At MediLavia, computed tomography is a fundamental diagnostic tool: no serious clinical decision is made without it.
CT lets us create your “digital twin”, an accurate three-dimensional model of your teeth and jaws. This is critical not only before implants or orthodontics but also for routine treatment. Studies confirm that CT reveals considerably more pathology (periapical lesions and cysts) than panoramic X-rays.
Having our own CT scanner is a must for an expert clinic and supports the interdisciplinary approach: your general dentist, surgeon and prosthodontist all see the same objective picture, which rules out errors and “surprises” during treatment.
